Majlis II, translates the conceptual framework of Majlis I into a physical, spatial artifact that balances metaphor, material, and form. Drawing inspiration from the loom as both structure and symbol, the work explores dualities such as rigidity and fluidity, stillness and motion, and presence and absence. Intersecting threads are arranged in a controlled gradient from red to black, with white accents punctuating the composition. Red introduces vitality and warmth, gradually transitioning into the depth and contemplation of black, while white threads create moments of pause and visual breathing space.
