The project focuses on designing and implementing a logo and visual identity system for a conference called Oudyssey, an experiential event that immerses guests in the world of oud, a fragrance with deep roots in Middle Eastern culture. The goal is to demonstrate the research, creative process, and application of branding across multiple materials. The first part involves creating the logo, defining its elements, and producing a guidelines manual, along with business cards and email signatures. The second part applies the logo to various conference-related materials such as programs, posters, textiles, stickers, lanyards, and banners.

REFELECTION:
The process of designing the logo and visual identity for Oudyssey was a deeply rewarding experience, blending creativity with cultural exploration. Through thorough research into the rich tradition of oud, I was able to craft a logo that reflected its elegance and depth while maintaining a modern touch. The ideation phase allowed me to experiment with concepts, refining them until I arrived at a final design that embodied the conference’s essence. Applying the logo across various materials, such as programs, posters, and textiles, challenged me to maintain visual consistency while enhancing the overall event experience. This project taught me the importance of a cohesive visual identity in creating memorable, impactful experiences and the delicate balance between creativity and functionality in design.
